Culford Waste is very much a family run Waste Management and Recycling Specialist business that started back in 1989. Richard and Sally Spittle with their sons Justin and Graeme and daughter Mary were just launching their modest new business with a transit van and 10 mini-skips when they were approached by another firm keen to sell off its mini-skip business. The deal was struck and their Culford Waste business started with an additional 100 mini-skips!
In response to increasing environmental pressures, the mounting legislation their industry attracts, not least of all the spiralling cost of landfill, the family set up a Waste Transfer station to recycle as much waste as possible. When they first started they recycled about 65% but today they now achieve an amazing ZERO % landfill. Over the years Culford Waste has expanded its services and now also offer a grab lorry service with a payload of 17+ tonnes, one tonne bags for deliveries of aggregates including crushed concrete and masonry materials , sand, ballast and stone and even top soil - these bags can also be used for waste removal.
